Last year I went to our CMO Chris Caposselaโ€™s talk called โ€œWhatโ€™s Great Data in Microsoftโ€. In this talk, he listed five of the most important characteristics of good data: self-describe, fresh, forward thinking, inclusive, and adopted. On tax day this year USAFacts is relying on Power BI to publish a 10-k report to provide a comprehensive view of the combined US federal, state and local governmentsโ€™ revenues and expenditures. The data is collected from multiple government sources including the US Treasury Department, the Office of Management and Budget, the US Census Bureau, and the Federal Reserve.
